Devops Engineer

Sanctuary AI, a world leader in building AI-based control systems for humanoid robots, is looking to hire a skilled and motivated Dev Ops Engineer to join our Dev Ops/Sec Ops team. The Dev Ops Engineer is a crucial part of our team, supporting infrastructure, automation, and internal tooling. Reporting to the Dev Ops Tech Lead, you’ll contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our growing organization.

• Own our team’s observability stack end-to-end - cloud resources, applications, dashboards, and automated backups
• Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines, vulnerability scanning, distributed storage, and internal compute resources in a hybrid cloud environment
• Collaborate with our software engineering and machine learning research teams to support and improve their day-to-day work
• Continuously deepen our team’s expertise in technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Gitlab, Grafana, and Azure
• Collaborate on high impact projects across multiple teams, providing guidance and expertise to other teams on cloud, CI/CD, security and containerization
• Design and implement automation that eliminates operational toil and frees engineering teams to focus on high-impact work

• Bachelors’ Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• 4+ years of industry experience
• Experience with any of the following:
  Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, containers)
• CI/CD pipelines and git (Gitlab, Github)
• Cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS)
• Infrastructure as Code (Bicep, Terraform, Ansible)
• Networking, and security
• Linux, Python, bash

• Ability to quickly learn and internalize new technologies
• Excellent systems debugging and design skills
• Familiarity with cross-team collaboration
• Time management and task prioritization in a fast paced environment
