This isn't a ticket-grinding role. You'll work on complex client environments, shape how we deliver service, and have real influence on our technical direction.

As our Senior Systems Engineer, you'll serve as the escalation point for our technical team and a trusted advisor to our clients. You'll own complex problems across Microsoft 365, Active Directory, networking, and security, and help us raise the bar across the board.

• Own escalated incidents from Tier 1 and Tier 2, diagnose and resolve issues that others can't
• Administer and troubleshoot Microsoft 365, Entra , Exchange, SharePoint, and Teams environments
• Manage Microsoft Server OS and Active Directory (GPOs, DNS, LDAP, DHCP)
• Plan and execute server migrations to Azure and AWS lift‑and‑shift and modernization projects
• Own ongoing server maintenance, patching, and health across client environments
• Engineer and deploy new network infrastructure from design through cutover
• Lead network upgrade projects, including switching, routing, VLANs, VPNs, and wireless
• Work directly with clients to scope and deliver projects from inception to completion
• Participate in security reviews, patch management, and hardening initiatives
• Identify inefficiencies and drive automation, Power Shell, Python, or whatever gets it done
• Mentor junior team members and help build a culture of continuous improvement

• 5+ years in an MSP or comparable client-facing IT environment
• Deep hands‑on experience with Microsoft 365 and Entra
• Strong Active Directory fundamentals: GPOs, DNS, LDAP, DHCP, and beyond
• Solid networking knowledge: TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, firewall concepts
• Scripting ability in Power Shell (required), Python, or Bash is a plus
• Comfortable working with RMM tools, PSA/ITSM platforms, and backup solutions
• Clear communicator who can translate technical complexity for any audience
• Local to the Vancouver/Portland metro. This is a full-time, in-person position
