Research Specialist II at Zoom Info
, you are on the front lines of keeping our B2B data accurate, complete, and trustworthy. You will dig deep using advanced internet research techniques and methods to verify, enrich, and classify contact and company profiles r ability to spot inconsistencies, navigate ambiguous data, and make sound judgment calls directly impacts the quality of the data our customers rely on every day.
Your keen eye for detail and comfort with handling data are assets that contribute directly to Zoom Info's reputation for excellence.
- Develop a foundational understanding of how Zoom Info's data ecosystem functions. Gain deeper expertise in specific focus areas relevant to your role, ensuring a thorough grasp of the data and projects within those areas.
- Utilize online resources and conduct phone-based research to gather information on contacts and companies. This involves verifying and updating details such as contact information including title, employee information, contact details, company details and more.
- Input data into Zoom Info's system using various internal tools. Accurate and timely data entry is essential for maintaining the integrity and freshness of the database.
- Undertake various research projects as assigned, which may include data cleanup initiatives, testing the quality of data sets, and evaluating the performance of data models. These projects contribute to improving the overall quality and reliability of Zoom Info's data offerings.
- Associate’s degree in areas of market research, applied social sciences, economics, business or related field, or 2+ years of equivalent work experience
- Some experience in a market research function focusing on secondary research a plus
- Excellent computer and research skills; beginner skills in Google Sheets
- Attention to details; ability to detect minor errors in data and make good decisions in ambiguous situations
- Ability to establish priorities and work independently
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated and passionate to grow with the team

Below is the US base salary for this position. Additional compensation such as Bonus, Commission, Equity and other benefits may also apply.
$35,700 – $56,100 USD
