System Administrator – Service Desk
Join AZAD Technology Partners as a System Administrator and support the Service Desk within Operational Infrastructure and Networking & Firewall Delivery subgroups within Transmission Technology group in the Transmission Services business line. This position will field telephone calls, voicemails and emails from IT clients, resolve or refer IT issues, track issues using a central incident management application and may run various diagnostic programs for troubleshooting or monitoring purposes.
Qualifications- Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a directly related discipline preferred.
- 3+ years of experience required for degree holders; 5+ years required for non‑degree holders.
- Direct work experience performing System Administration.
- Active Directory administration and troubleshooting.
- Windows operating system installation, maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Experience using Power Shell.
- Print server and network printer administration and basic troubleshooting.
- Working knowledge of troubleshooting Windows operating systems using text‑based logs, Windows event logs and utilities.
- Valid Driver's License or Real Id required.
- Enterprise PKI (Public Key Infrastructure) certificate infrastructure administration.
- 24/7 high‑availability operational environment experience.
- Service Desk Experience & Ticket Management.
- Cisco command‑line interface (CLI) network device configuration, management and troubleshooting.
- Complex authentication systems troubleshooting (LDAP, Kerberos, Active Directory, Multi‑factor authentication).
- Software Packaging, Security & Compliance Reporting.
- Computer systems infrastructure management tools or systems (anti‑virus, patch deployment, log management, software deployment, backup and recovery).
- Network and host‑based technologies (SCSI, iSCSI, CIFS, SMB).
- Virtualization technologies (VMWare, Hyper‑V).
- GPS time distribution systems administration and maintenance.
- Network and host‑based firewall administration.
- LAN connectivity troubleshooting and DNS in multi‑domain environment.
- Specific technologies:
Splunk, Remote Desktop Services, IIS, Apache, Wireshark, Sysinternals Tools, Checkpoint Firewall, HP Pro Liant, KVM, Power Shell.
