Project Manager at Harrisburg, PA

You will serve as the primary liaison between internal agency stakeholders and the PALS platform vendor. Your focus is to manage contract performance, oversee system enhancements, and ensure compliance with accessibility and security standards.

• Vendor & Contract Management: Act as the main point of contact, lead performance meetings, manage contract terms, and verify compliance.
• System Monitoring: Track Service Level Agreements (SLAs), system uptime, incident response, and coordinate Disaster Recovery (DR) testing.
• Change Management: Oversee the change request process, from scoping and prioritization to release scheduling and impact assessments.
• Release Coordination: Direct User Acceptance Testing (UAT), production deployments, and post-release validation.
• Compliance & Governance: Ensure all vendor activities adhere to accessibility standards (WCAG/Section 508), security policies, and legal requirements.

• Certification: PMP Certification (Required).
• Experience: 10+ years of professional experience managing IT vendors and complex systems.
• Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of SLAs, IT governance, system testing (UAT, load testing), and accessibility compliance.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, meeting facilitation, and the ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a team-oriented environment.
• Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with resource management, conservation, and outdoor recreation is highly preferred.

• On‑Site Requirement: This role requires a hybrid schedule, with at least 3 days per week at the PFBC/PGC Headquarters in Harrisburg, PA.
