Role Purpose
The purpose of the role is to create exceptional integration architectural solution design and thought leadership and enable delivery teams to provide exceptional client engagement and satisfaction.
Responsibilities- Define integration architecture for new deals and major change requests.
- Create enterprise‑wide integration architecture that ensures systems are seamlessly integrated while remaining scalable, reliable and manageable.
- Provide solutioning for digital integration for RFPs received from clients and ensure overall design assurance.
- Analyse applications, exchange points, data formats, connectivity requirements, technology environment, enterprise specifics and client requirements to set an integration solution design framework.
- Lead the design, development and implementation of integration solutions through the thoughtful use of modern technology.
- Define and understand current‑state integration solutions, identify improvements, options and trade‑offs, and define target‑state solutions.
- Clearly articulate, document and use integration patterns, best practices and processes.
- Evaluate and recommend products and solutions to integrate with the overall technology ecosystem.
- Work closely with various IT groups to transition tasks, ensure performance and manage issues through to resolution.
- Document integration architecture covering logical, deployment and data views with detailed artefacts.
- Validate the integration solution or prototype from technology, cost and customer differentiation perspectives.
- Identify problem areas, perform root cause analysis of integration architectural design and solutions, and provide relevant solutions.
- Collaborate with sales, program/project, and consulting teams to reconcile solutions to architecture.
- Track industry integration trends and relate them to current and future IT needs.
- Provide technical and strategic input during project planning, reviewing objectives and constraints, and ensuring conformance with Enterprise Architecture.
- Identify implementation risks and potential impacts.
- Enable delivery teams by providing optimal delivery solutions/frameworks.
- Build and maintain relationships with technical leaders, product owners, peer architects and other stakeholders to become a trusted advisor.
- Develop and establish relevant integration metrics (KPI/SLA) to drive results.
- Identify risks related to integration and prepare a risk mitigation plan.
- Ensure quality assurance of the integration architecture or design decisions and provide technical mitigation support to delivery teams.
- Lead the development and maintenance of the integration framework and related artefacts.
- Develop trust and effective working relationships through respectful, collaborative engagement across individual product teams.
- Ensure integration architecture principles, patterns and standards are consistently applied across all projects.
- Ensure optimal client engagement.
- Support pre‑sales team while presenting the entire solution design and its principles to the client.
- Coordinate with client teams to ensure all requirements are met and create an effective integration solution.
- Demonstrate thought leadership with strong technical capability in front of the client to win confidence and act as a trusted advisor.
- Build competency and brand: ensure completion of necessary trainings and certifications on integration middleware.
- Develop proofs of concept, case studies, demos, and other growth materials based on market and customer research.
- Write white papers, blogs and other content to present a point of view on digital integration.
- Help attain market recognition through analyst rankings, client testimonials and partner credits.
- Speak in forums (internal and external) to promote Wipro’s thought leadership.
- Mentor developers, designers and junior architects for career development.
- Contribute to the integration practice by conducting selection interviews.
- Participate in team management: resourcing, talent management, onboarding, training, performance management, and providing constructive feedback to direct reports.
