IT Support Specialist

As an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our clients and ensuring their computer systems and networks are functioning efficiently. Your duties will include troubleshooting hardware and software issues, installing and configuring new equipment, and maintaining accurate records of all support activities.

To excel in this role, you must have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a thorough understanding of computer systems and networks. A degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred but not required. Previous experience in a similar role is also highly desirable.

• Provide technical support to clients via phone, email or in person
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and provide timely resolutions
• Install, configure and maintain computer systems and networks
• Train users on new equipment or software as needed
• Maintain accurate records of all support activities
• Collaborate with team members to identify areas for improvement in processes or systems
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in the industry

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (preferred)
• 2+ years of experience in IT support role (preferred)
• Proficient knowledge of Windows OS, hardware components, and networking protocols
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically under pressure
• Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing environments
