• Manage the full purchasing process: from sourcing and negotiating with suppliers to placing orders and tracking deliveries.
• Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email with empathy, accuracy and timeliness.
• Resolve order issues, returns, and complaints in a way that turns challenges into positive experiences.
• Analyze demand forecasts and translate them into accurate purchase orders and production plans.
• Request quotes for pricing, lead time, and terms, from our suppliers, to secure the best value without compromising quality.
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve delivery or quality issues quickly and effectively.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels. Avoiding both shortages and excess stock, using our ERP/MRP systems.
• Collaborate closely with production, engineering, and quality personnel to align material availability with business needs and project timelines.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and supply chain efficiency.
• Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with the overall business objectives and improve operational efficiency.
• Streamline operations, enhance distribution strategies, and reduce overall supply chain costs.
• Ensure procurement activities adhere to organization policies, legal requirements, and ethical standards.

• Proven experience in purchasing, procurement or supply chain management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools (ERP/MRP systems, SAP, Oracle, Net Suite)
• Excellent customer service and supplier management skills; showing the ability to listen, empathize, and resolve issues effectively.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, bills of materials, and production schedules.
• A proactive, problem-solving mindset with strong attention to detail.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
• Deep understanding of supply chain processes, inventory management, and logistics.
• Highly organized with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
