The Springs at The Waterfront is situated along the southern facing Vancouver riverfront and will provide approximately 250 private residences for those 62 and older. This state-of-the-art, 12-story senior living community will offer a variety of floor plans that feature stunning views. The Springs at The Waterfront is currently hiring an Overnight Porter/Valet/Light Security to join our new maintenance team! Our ideal candidate has a perfect blend of personal warmth and technical skills. Responsibilities include light housekeeping, carpet cleaning, light maintenance, and addressing resident and building problems in a timely and friendly manner. Responsibilities also include valet as needed, night security, and exterior garbage removal.

• Empties all trash/recycle daily
• Delivers mail packages to residents
• Assists in maintaining the exterior of the building
• Sets up rooms for special functions as needed
• Maintains common areas through carpet cleaning, painting touch up, and floor cleaning
• Valet cars as needed
• Provide night security
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor

• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical/electrical problems preferred, but not required
• Excellent communication skills
• Previous experience in construction and/or apartment maintenance preferred but not required
• CPR and First Aid certified (training paid for and provided by The Springs Living)
• Must be able to pass drug test, background check, and DMV records check
• Have had your Driver's License for a minimum of 5 years

Part-Time

The Springs Living provides a competitive compensation package for the Porter position, with an hourly wage range of $16.28-$20 depending on experience.
