Summary:

We are currently seeking a new Senior Project Manager to join our Project Management Office team in Vancouver , Calgary , Toronto, or US (remote).

What your team does:

Clio’s Project Management Office (PMO) leads the company’s most strategic, complex, cross-functional projects and programs. We work closely with teams across the entire Clio org and with roles at all levels. We’re the gears that reliably keep projects running on time and the business growing.

The PMO sits within the Business Operations department, focused on driving results through strategic, operational, and data-driven improvements and growth. As part of the wider Business Operations team, the PMO acts as a key partner in implementing Clio’s long-term strategy.

Who you are:

First and foremost you are someone who seeks to build partnerships based on trust. You can work with people at all levels from junior to executive and you are able to meet people where they are. You have a demonstrated strategic mindset and can drive strategic decision making, focusing teams on the most impactful work required to achieve business objectives. You are skilled at bringing clarity to ambiguous situations and are a problem solver who looks for common-sense, human-centric solutions.

You can see the big picture across a wide canvas of projects, priorities, and teams to identify dependencies, gaps, risks, decisions, and opportunities; and you are meticulously organized.

What you’ll work on:
  • You will lead end-to-end project management for Clio’s most complex cross-functional projects. This could include launching new product lines, global expansion initiatives, mergers & acquisitions, internal transformation and optimization efforts, and other strategic growth initiatives as required by the business. You are expected to have a deep understanding of managing complex projects and programs end-to-end using widely recognized best practices. PMP certification or similar is required.

  • You will work closely with functional leaders across the business to develop execution plans that align to Clio’s strategic vision and goals.

  • You will drive strategic alignment and decision-making discussions with project leads and executive stakeholders.

  • You will facilitate needs assessments and task scoping with a variety of workstream leaders, continually test and validate scoping assumptions to ensure teams are working on the right things to achieve project objectives.

  • You will identify and highlight dependencies and facilitate communication and collaboration across cross-functional work streams; remove barriers, track blockers, and mitigate risks.

What you may have:
  • An undergraduate degree in an area that involves project management, business, research, leadership, or software development.

  • Project management certification, change management certification, and/or additional project management training – PMP certification is essential.

  • 4+ years experience working in project management or adjacent disciplines in a fast-growing SaaS/tech company.

  • Experience conducting needs assessments, scoping project tasks and deliverables, facilitating decision-making alignment discussions, and creating roadmaps and timelines/gantt charts.

  • Experience facilitating workshops with groups and coaching individuals.

  • Demonstrate a keen interest in improving your craft by using AI.

Serious bonus points if you have:
  • People management experience or holding leadership roles.

Benefits & Total Rewards:

Clio offers a Total Rewards program with competitive pay and benefits. Highlights include:

  • Competitive, equitable salary with health benefits, dental, and vision insurance.

  • Hybrid work environment; local Clions (Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto, Dublin and Sydney) to be in office a minimum of twice per week.

  • Flexible time off policy, with an encouraged 20 days off per year.

  • $2000 annual counseling benefit.

  • RRSP matching and RESP contribution.

  • Clioversary recognition program at 3, 5, 7, and 10 years.
