Position Summary

The Manager of Bookkeeping Services leads the Audigy Bookkeeping Services (ABS) Team, developing strategy, ensuring profitability, and creating processes that deliver exceptional accuracy and service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high‑performing bookkeeping team.
  • Establish and uphold standards and processes ensuring accuracy, consistency, and integrity of bookkeeping services.
  • Partner cross‑functionally with Strategic Business Unit Finance Managers to deliver seamless, high‑quality support.
  • Oversee departmental financial performance and maintain profitability while delivering exceptional service standards.
  • Define and execute the long‑term vision, goals, and development roadmap for the bookkeeping function.
  • Identify performance gaps, diagnose root causes, and implement scalable solutions for operational efficiency and business impact.
  • Develop and strengthen relationships with Audigy members through consulting, presenting, and engaging stakeholders.
  • Operate as a hands‑on leader in both strategic planning and execution of key initiatives.
  • Collaborate with members and their CPAs to ensure alignment, accuracy, and compliance.
  • Serve as a strong ambassador for the department both internally and externally.
  • Maintain and continuously improve processes safeguarding member financial records.
  • Optimize team scheduling and workflow management for efficiency and timely delivery.
  • Audit member books to ensure high‑quality, professional financial products.
  • Partner with senior leadership to track, manage, and achieve profitability targets and key metrics.
  • Review and submit billing accurately and on time with internal accounting teams.
  • Participate in leadership meetings, trainings, and organizational initiatives.
  • Travel to member practices as needed for relationship building and service delivery.
  • Contribute to company events by creating and delivering content that promotes back‑office best practices.

Desired Qualifications
  • Education: CPA designation preferred; bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting, finance, or related field.
  • Experience: 6+ years progressive accounting experience, ≥3 years in a leadership role, minimum 5 years managing multiple clients or entities.
Working Environment
  • Hybrid schedule:
    Monday and Wednesday required in‑office; other days as necessary.
  • Full‑time, Monday‑Friday, 8:00AM‑5:00PM; occasional flexibility outside business hours.
Physical Demands

Long periods of sitting, computer use, occasional lifting of supplies; may involve travel.
