Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Press Brake Operator role in Vancouver, WA
. Our client is a well-established manufacturing company known for precision, quality, and a commitment to delivering reliable metal fabrication solutions. With a strong focus on continuous improvement, they pride themselves on maintaining excellence throughout their production processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up, operate, and adjust press brake machines to bend and form metal components according to specifications.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders to determine bend sequences and tolerances.
  • Select appropriate tooling, dies, and materials for each job.
  • Perform first‑piece and in‑process inspections to ensure accuracy and quality standards are met.
  • Make machine adjustments to correct deviations and maintain tight tolerances.
  • Safely load and unload materials, including sheet metal and fabricated parts.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety and company standards.
  • Accurately document production counts, measurements, and job‑related information.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines.
  • Report equipment issues, quality concerns, or safety hazards promptly.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience operating press brake equipment is preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and perform basic shop math.
  • Familiarity with CNC or manual press brake machines is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods in a manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent teamwork, communication, and time‑management skills.
  • Willingness to work varying shifts, including evenings or weekends, as needed.
