- Set up, operate, and adjust press brake machines to bend and form metal components according to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders to determine bend sequences and tolerances.
- Select appropriate tooling, dies, and materials for each job.
- Perform first‑piece and in‑process inspections to ensure accuracy and quality standards are met.
- Make machine adjustments to correct deviations and maintain tight tolerances.
- Safely load and unload materials, including sheet metal and fabricated parts.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety and company standards.
- Accurately document production counts, measurements, and job‑related information.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Report equipment issues, quality concerns, or safety hazards promptly.
- High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience operating press brake equipment is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and perform basic shop math.
- Familiarity with CNC or manual press brake machines is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods in a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and time‑management skills.
- Willingness to work varying shifts, including evenings or weekends, as needed.
