Pay$24.00/hr + Pay For Performance Bonus

- Safely handle and fill pure medical grade gas products into high‑pressure and liquid gas cylinders in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and Airgas standard operating procedures.
- Adhere to company policies including safety and the use of personal protective equipment.
- Maintain a positive work atmosphere by communicating effectively with vendors, co‑workers, and management.
- Perform various duties in the plant: forklift operation, material handling and sorting, inspecting, and cylinder maintenance work.
- Inspect cylinders prior to filling following standard procedures required by government, Airgas, and distributor standards.
- Conduct safety checks: odor tests, checking caps and valves; analyze products for purity and correct mixtures.
- Handle high‑pressure and liquid cylinders; prepare high‑pressure cylinders and cryogenic vessels for filling; attach to manifold, evacuate cylinders to eliminate contaminants; fill cylinders by pressure and weight per regulations.
- Assist with loading and unloading cylinders on and off pallets and tractor‑trailers.
- Operate a forklift, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment.
- Manage paperwork to DOT, FDA, OSHA, and Airgas standards; complete quality control sheets as required.
- Understand hazards of various gases; read and interpret cylinder labels and color‑coding of tanks; label cylinders accurately.
- Comply with all government and company standards related to safe handling of hazardous materials/cylinder gases.
- Maintain a neat, clean, and orderly plant appearance.
- Perform any reasonable work request within qualifications.
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Must be able to operate a forklift and maintain appropriate forklift certifications.
- Minimum one year of prior experience in a manufacturing operation; filling or loading experience preferred.
- Strong background in gas, welding, and safety supply or chemical industry (preferred).
