Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Laser Operator role in Vancouver, WA. Responsibilities
  • Operate and monitor laser cutting equipment to ensure accurate and efficient production.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings to meet production specifications.
  • Set up materials, tooling, and machine parameters for various laser cutting operations.
  • Inspect finished parts to verify quality, dimensions, and compliance with company standards.
  • Perform routine machine maintenance and cleaning to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Load and unload raw materials and finished products safely and efficiently.
  • Monitor production output and adjust machine settings as needed to maintain quality and productivity.
  • Follow all workplace safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
  • Accurately document production data, material usage, and machine performance.
  • Promptly report equipment malfunctions, quality concerns, or safety hazards to supervisors.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience operating laser cutting equipment or CNC machinery preferred.
  • Ability to read measuring tools, blueprints, and technical drawings accurately.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required.
  • Forklift certification or experience is a plus, but training may be provided.
