Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Sander/Finisher role in Vancouver, WA. Key Responsibilities:- Sand, grind, and finish materials and products to meet quality and appearance standards.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and finishing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Inspect surfaces and completed products for imperfections, ensuring proper finish and consistency.
- Prepare products for painting, coating, assembly, or shipment by cleaning and smoothing surfaces.
- Maintain production schedules while ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
- Assist with material handling, loading, and moving products throughout the production area.
- Communicate with supervisors and team members regarding production goals, quality concerns, or equipment issues.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of sanding and finishing equipment.
- Accurately document production activity and report any defects or operational concerns.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; prior sanding, finishing, manufacturing, or woodworking experience is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods in a fast‑paced production environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high‑quality work.
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently when needed.
- Willingness to work varying shifts, overtime, or weekends as required.
- Competitive hourly wage. $18-$20 DOE.
