Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Machine Operator role in Vancouver, WA. Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate, monitor, and maintain manufacturing machinery to ensure safe and efficient production operations.
  • Set up machines, adjust controls, and troubleshoot minor equipment issues during production runs.
  • Inspect finished products and materials to ensure quality standards and production specifications are met.
  • Follow all workplace safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized production environment.
  • Load raw materials into machinery and move finished products to designated storage or shipping areas.
  • Monitor machine performance and report malfunctions or maintenance needs to supervisors or maintenance staff.
  • Accurately complete production records, quality documentation, and shift reports.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals and deadlines.
  • Assist with routine equipment cleaning, preventive maintenance, and operational changeovers.
  • Maintain adherence to company policies, safety standards, and production procedures at all times.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; previous machine operation or manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Mechanical aptitude and the ability to learn and operate manufacturing equipment safely.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
  • Excellent teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including overtime and weekends as needed.
  • Forklift certification or experience is a plus, but not required.
