Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Machine Operator role in Vancouver, WA. Key Responsibilities:- Operate, monitor, and maintain manufacturing machinery to ensure safe and efficient production operations.
- Set up machines, adjust controls, and troubleshoot minor equipment issues during production runs.
- Inspect finished products and materials to ensure quality standards and production specifications are met.
- Follow all workplace safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized production environment.
- Load raw materials into machinery and move finished products to designated storage or shipping areas.
- Monitor machine performance and report malfunctions or maintenance needs to supervisors or maintenance staff.
- Accurately complete production records, quality documentation, and shift reports.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals and deadlines.
- Assist with routine equipment cleaning, preventive maintenance, and operational changeovers.
- Maintain adherence to company policies, safety standards, and production procedures at all times.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; previous machine operation or manufacturing experience preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods in a fast-paced production environment.
- Mechanical aptitude and the ability to learn and operate manufacturing equipment safely.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including overtime and weekends as needed.
- Forklift certification or experience is a plus, but not required.
- Competitive hourly wage. $19-$22 DOE.
