Overview
Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Fabricator position in Vancouver, WA. Key Responsibilities- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders to fabricate components according to specifications.
- Perform layout, fitting, cutting, grinding, and assembly of metal components.
- Operate fabrication equipment including saws, drills, presses, grinders, and other shop tools safely and efficiently.
- Perform MIG and/or TIG welding as required to complete fabrication projects.
- Measure, mark, and inspect materials to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
- Conduct quality inspections throughout the fabrication process to maintain product integrity and workmanship standards.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production schedules and deadlines.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Perform routine maintenance and care of tools and equipment.
- Identify and communicate production, quality, or safety concerns to management.
- Assist with process improvements and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Previous fabrication experience in a manufacturing or production environment required.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications.
- Experience with MIG welding required; TIG welding experience is a plus.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency with fabrication tools and equipment.
- Excellent measuring, layout, and fitting skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective communication and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a physically demanding environment.
- Competitive pay of $24.00–$28.00 per hour DOE.
