Saxon is hiring a Senior CNC Machinist / Programmer for a leading precision manufacturing operation in Snohomish County. This is a hands‑on role for an experienced machinist who can independently program, set up, troubleshoot, and machine complex aerospace and precision components while supporting continuous improvement efforts and mentoring team members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Program, set up, and machine complex CNC parts from print or CAD model to finished product.
  • Develop and optimize machining processes for prototype and production work.
  • Interpret blueprints, GD&T requirements, and manufacturing documentation.
  • Design and improve fixturing solutions to support efficient production.
  • Troubleshoot machining, setup, and programming issues.
  • Perform inspections and ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Mentor junior machinists and support daily production priorities.
  • Drive process improvements to increase efficiency and quality.
Qualifications

Required:
  • Extensive CNC machining and programming experience in a precision manufacturing environment.
  • Aerospace machining experience.
  • Strong blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation skills.
  • Expert setup, troubleshooting, and process development abilities.
  • Experience holding tight tolerances and working with complex parts.
  • Proficiency with CAM software and CNC programming.
  • Strong quality and inspection background.
  • Leadership or mentoring experience.
Preferred:
  • 15+ years of CNC machining experience.
  • Experience with Siemens NX CAM.
  • Prototype machining or high‑mix, low‑volume job shop experience.
  • AS9100 manufacturing environment experience.
