Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for an Environmental Tech 3 role in Vancouver, WA. Our client is a well-established industry leader known for innovation and a commitment to environmental stewardship and operational excellence. With a focus on safety, sustainability, and continuous improvement, they pride themselves on maintaining high standards across all aspects of their environmental operations.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay: $27–30/hour DOE
- Perform environmental and industrial cleaning duties in compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Operate and maintain equipment used for waste handling, environmental remediation, and facility support operations.
- Conduct inspections and monitor work areas to ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and company safety standards.
- Handle, transport, and dispose of hazardous and non-hazardous materials according to established procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of environmental activities, waste tracking, and safety documentation.
- Assist with spill response, containment, and cleanup operations as needed.
- Support preventative maintenance and general upkeep of equipment and work areas.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to complete projects efficiently and safely.
- Identify and report equipment issues, safety concerns, or environmental risks promptly.
- Participate in ongoing safety training and continuous improvement initiatives.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; environmental, industrial, or hazardous waste experience preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs and work in industrial or outdoor environments.
- Strong understanding of workplace safety procedures and environmental compliance standards.
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow strict safety protocols.
- Excellent attention to detail, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Forklift certification or hazardous materials training is a plus, but not required.
- Reliable attendance and ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
- Competitive hourly wage based on experience. $27–30/hour DOE
