Machine Operator (Vancouver, WA)

Job Description:

This position is responsible for operating paper packaging/food service product manufacturing machines in order to safely produce high quality paper packaging/food service products in accordance with the job safety analyses, production schedule, set up instructions, operating procedures and quality specifications.

Starting Pay Rate of $21.80 - $28.00 per hour depending on experience.

• Swing:
  Monday
  - Friday, 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm
• Graveyard/3rd:
  Monday
  - Friday, 11:00 pm to 7:00 am
• A:
  Sunday through Tuesday & every other Wednesday, 7:00 am to 7:00 pm
• B:
  Thursday through Saturday & every other Wednesday, 7:00 am to 7:00 pm
• C:
  Sunday through Tuesday & every other Wednesday, 7:00 pm to 7:00 am
• D:
  Thursday through Saturday & every other Wednesday, 7:00 pm to 7:00 am

• Understand and follow all safety procedures.
• Set up and operate machine and support equipment to convert paper into product per specifications.
• Read and verify order sheets.
• Understand print job requirements and quality issues.
• Perform quality checks on finished products.
• Complete daily production paperwork.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area.
• Responsibility for food safety and GMPs.

• Minimum six months of experience in a manufacturing environment; preferably with a high‑speed process.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Successful completion of pre‑employment background and drug screen.
• Satisfactorily completes training courses as determined by management.
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without accommodation.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
