Industrial Production Manager
A long-established industrial manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee multi-site operations supporting large-scale engineered equipment and fabrication projects. This leadership role is responsible for driving safety, quality, production performance, workforce development, and operational efficiency across two manufacturing facilities. The ideal candidate brings strong experience in heavy industrial fabrication, team leadership, and continuous improvement within a fast-paced production environment.
IndustrialProduction Manager Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop supervisors, foremen, and production personnel across multiple manufacturing locations.
- Oversee daily fabrication, machining, welding, coating, assembly, and facility operations to ensure efficient production flow.
- Manage production schedules, labor allocation, and workload balancing to meet project timelines and customer expectations.
- Ensure compliance with engineering specifications, quality standards, and applicable manufacturing codes and procedures.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, process standardization, waste reduction, and operational efficiency.
- Partner cross-functionally with engineering, project management, procurement, and field operations to support successful project execution.
- Proven leadership experience managing manufacturing or fabrication operations in a heavy industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of welding, machining, fabrication processes, industrial coatings, and quality control systems.
- Experience overseeing production teams in a multi-site manufacturing operation.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, production schedules, and technical specifications.
- Familiarity with safety regulations, lean manufacturing principles, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, organizational, and team development skills.
