Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Press Brake Operator role in Vancouver, WA. Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC and manual press brake equipment to bend, form, and fabricate metal components according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, work orders, and bend schedules.
• Select appropriate tooling, dies, and machine settings to achieve required dimensions and tolerances.
• Inspect completed parts using measuring tools to verify conformance to quality standards.
• Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections to ensure product accuracy and consistency.
• Troubleshoot equipment and production issues and make necessary machine adjustments.
• Load and unload raw materials and finished products while ensuring proper handling and storage.
• Maintain production records and accurately document work performed.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Report equipment malfunctions, quality concerns, or safety hazards to supervisors promptly.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous press brake operation experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions.
• Experience using measuring tools such as calipers, tape measures, protractors, and angle gauges.
• Strong mathematical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Experience with CNC press brake controls is a plus.
