Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Press Brake Operator role in Vancouver, WA. Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC and manual press brake equipment to bend, form, and fabricate metal components according to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, work orders, and bend schedules.
- Select appropriate tooling, dies, and machine settings to achieve required dimensions and tolerances.
- Inspect completed parts using measuring tools to verify conformance to quality standards.
- Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections to ensure product accuracy and consistency.
- Troubleshoot equipment and production issues and make necessary machine adjustments.
- Load and unload raw materials and finished products while ensuring proper handling and storage.
- Maintain production records and accurately document work performed.
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Report equipment malfunctions, quality concerns, or safety hazards to supervisors promptly.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous press brake operation experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions.
- Experience using measuring tools such as calipers, tape measures, protractors, and angle gauges.
- Strong mathematical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Experience with CNC press brake controls is a plus.
