Northwest Packing in Vancouver, WA;
San Benito Foods in Hollister, CA; and Toma‑Tek in Firebaugh, CA.

Rail Dock Forklift Operator (Seasonal)

This role uses a sit‑down propane forklift to move containers—including pallets, drums, and bins—across the dock. Responsibilities include following all safety and food‑safety procedures, completing required paperwork, and supporting the fresh‑pack season (July to early November) at our Northwest Packing plant.

• Promote a food‑safety culture through conversations, communications, and actions.
• Stack product straight, smoothly, and safely.
• Receive inventory and put away raw product, finished goods, and materials on the work floor, including high‑stacking pallets of bright stock in an orderly manner.
• Perform daily maintenance checks on the assigned forklift following internal procedures.
• Ensure proper tags and labels are on palletized product; read and interpret labels.

• 3+ years of experience driving forklifts and similar equipment at truck, rail, or dock positions handling finished goods.
• Forklift certification required.
• Effective communication skills.
• Accurate and thorough work performance.
• Ability to pass a pre‑employment drug test and work an extended schedule, weekends, and any shift during the fresh‑pack season.

• Eligible for paid sick leave.

• 1st Shift: 7 a.m. – 3 p.m.
• 2nd Shift: 3 p.m. – 11 p.m. ($0.50 differential).
• 3rd Shift: 11 p.m. – 7 a.m. ($1.00 differential).
