Job DescriptionThe Production Operator role is an entry-level position focused on processing silicon for semiconductor wafer manufacturing. This position requires adherence to detailed procedures and accurate documentation, using manual tools such as hammers, scales, barcode scanners, and a PC. The role involves working a 10-hour day shift, Monday through Thursday, with potential overtime.
Responsibilities- Follow complex procedures and complete documentation without defects.
- Operate manual tools like hammers, scales, and barcode scanners.
- Ensure equipment and area cleanliness to meet clean room and 5S standards.
- Lift and exert force between 10–20 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
- Understand and follow all safety regulations and use Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
- Perform daily calibrations for process tools and ensure compliance with specifications.
- Monitor and verify data and processes to meet quality standards.
- Work well as part of a cohesive production team.
- Perform tasks involving hand/wrist dexterity, standing, walking, and frequent use of stairs.
- Ability to work around hazardous chemicals.
- Strong attention to detail and time management.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide, and compute percentages using a calculator.
- Use of computer keyboard for data input, tracking materials, and email communication.
- Ability to speak, read, and write effectively in English.

- Ability to multitask and manage time well.
- Ability to work well with others.

Work EnvironmentThe work environment is somewhat dirty and loud, with exposure to fumes, odors, dust, and other elements. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, gloves, face shields, and uniforms are provided and required. The facility operates with very strict safety protocols.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Vancouver, WA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
