Job Description

The Production Operator role is an entry-level position focused on processing silicon for semiconductor wafer manufacturing. This position requires adherence to detailed procedures and accurate documentation, using manual tools such as hammers, scales, barcode scanners, and a PC. The role involves working a 10-hour day shift, Monday through Thursday, with potential overtime.

Responsibilities
  • Follow complex procedures and complete documentation without defects.
  • Operate manual tools like hammers, scales, and barcode scanners.
  • Ensure equipment and area cleanliness to meet clean room and 5S standards.
  • Lift and exert force between 10–20 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
  • Understand and follow all safety regulations and use Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
  • Perform daily calibrations for process tools and ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Monitor and verify data and processes to meet quality standards.
  • Work well as part of a cohesive production team.
  • Perform tasks involving hand/wrist dexterity, standing, walking, and frequent use of stairs.
Essential Skills
  • Ability to work around hazardous chemicals.
  • Strong attention to detail and time management.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide, and compute percentages using a calculator.
  • Use of computer keyboard for data input, tracking materials, and email communication.
  • Ability to speak, read, and write effectively in English.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Vancouver, WA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
