Sander/Finisher

Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Sander/Finisher role in Vancouver, WA. Key Responsibilities:

• Sand, grind, and finish materials and products to meet quality and appearance standards.

• Operate hand tools, power tools, and finishing equipment safely and efficiently.

• Inspect surfaces and completed products for imperfections, ensuring proper finish and consistency.

• Prepare products for painting, coating, assembly, or shipment by cleaning and smoothing surfaces.

• Maintain production schedules while ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.

• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment.

• Assist with material handling, loading, and moving products throughout the production area.

• Communicate with supervisors and team members regarding production goals, quality concerns, or equipment issues.

• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of sanding and finishing equipment.

• Accurately document production activity and report any defects or operational concerns.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; prior sanding, finishing, manufacturing, or woodworking experience is a plus.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods in a fast-paced production environment.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.

• Excellent teamwork, communication, and organizational skills.

• Ability to follow instructions and work independently when needed.

• Willingness to work varying shifts, overtime, or weekends as required.
