The Clean Line Technician 1 will perform various tasks in chemical and clean room environments to ensure manufactured parts meet customer‑required cleanliness specifications. Responsibilities include work on the Rough Clean Line, Chem Line, visual inspection, Clean Room packaging, and final packaging.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Follow all safety standards and procedures to maintain a safe and organized working environment.
- Follow all quality standards and procedures to ensure part quality meets customer and internal specifications.
- Use approved tools and chemicals to hand work parts to meet visual inspection criteria.
- Load parts into baskets for the Chem Line.
- Perform incoming and final visual inspection following documented procedures.
- Package and label parts in a clean room environment using a sealer.
- Work individually or as a team to meet deadlines while maintaining efficient production output and adhering to safety and quality standards.
- Responsible for some chemical tank dumps and builds.
- May train or inspect basic tasks of lower level technicians and operators.
- Perform related duties as required or assigned.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 6+ months of related experience required, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred, preferably in a manufacturing/production environment.
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend verbal and written instructions in English.
- Basic computer skills:
Excel, Outlook, spreadsheet. - Skill in reading manufacturing prints.
- Willingness to wear latex and nitrile gloves, masks, chemical PPE, and/or cleanroom apparel.
- Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods on the production floor.
- Ability to grab small parts or hand tools with hands.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 35 lbs.
- Eligible to work in an ITAR environment.
- Pass drug and background check.
Continuously required to talk or hear; regularly required to stand, use hands, handle; frequently required to walk, sit; occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must frequently lift and/or move up to 35 pounds, regularly lift/move up to 15 pounds. 20/20 corrected vision may be required.
Environmental ConditionsFrequently exposed to work near moving mechanical parts, chemicals, fumes or airborne particles. Noise level usually moderate.
