Position Summary
Established Manufacturer is seeking a qualified CNC Machinist to join a permanent manufacturing team. The role includes setting up and operating CNC machines, ensuring efficient production runs, and maintaining high-quality standards.
Job DetailsSalary: $32–$45 per hour plus a monthly bonus of up to 20% of salary. Additional benefits include 401(k) matching up to 3%, comprehensive benefits package, paid time off, holiday plan, and tuition reimbursement.
Responsibilities- Operate and manage Fanuc CNC machines for drilling, grinding, milling, and related tasks.
- Interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and task specifications to execute machining operations.
- Translate instructions into computer commands for accurate machine performance.
- Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto machines.
- Inspect and measure finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Test machine operation periodically to guarantee smooth running.
- Perform routine maintenance and repair minor damages to maintain machine reliability.
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace in accordance with company policies and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize workflow and coordinate job sequencing.
- Contribute to team efforts to achieve related production goals as needed.
- At least 2 years of experience as a CNC Machinist or in a similar manufacturing role.
- Proficient in using Fanuc CNC and associated software.
- Comprehensive knowledge of mill and lathe operations.
- Expertise in machine programming and CNC machine operation.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and good mathematical skills.
- Detail-oriented and results-driven work style.
- Capability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent; certificate or diploma in engineering or a related discipline is a plus.
- Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy items.
