About the RoleWe are seeking a CNC Operator to join a growing manufacturing team in Vancouver, WA. In this role, you'll operate CNC machinery to produce high-quality precision parts while ensuring production goals, safety standards, and quality expectations are met. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with CNC experience who is looking to continue growing their machining skills in a supportive environment.
Responsibilities- Operate CNC mills, lathes, and other machining equipment to manufacture parts within required tolerances.
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and inspection requirements.
- Perform quality inspections using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring tools.
- Load materials and monitor machine performance throughout production runs.
- Complete tool changes and make minor machine adjustments as needed.
- Identify and troubleshoot basic machining or production issues.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all company safety, quality, and production procedures.
- Previous experience operating CNC equipment in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints.
- Experience using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills.
- High attention to detail with a commitment to producing quality work.
- Ability to stand, bend, lift, and work in a fast-paced production setting.
- Experience performing complete machine setups, including tooling changes, fixture installation, offsets, and first-article inspections.
- CNC programming experience using G-Code, Mastercam, Fusion 360, or similar software.
- Ability to edit existing programs and improve machining processes.
- Technical training, trade school education, or machining certifications.
- Experience with Mastercam or Solid Works is highly desirable and can provide opportunities for advancement.

Work Environment- Machine shop manufacturing environment
- Monday–Friday schedule
- Standard shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
- Flexible start and end times available (up to 1–2 hours)

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Vancouver, WA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $32.00/hr.
