Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Cooker Mechanic role in Vancouver, WA. Key Responsibilities:• Inspect and diagnose mechanical devices to identify issues and dismantle and repair or replace defective parts.
• Examine parts for imperfections and wear to ensure proper functionality.
• Adjust functional components and control instruments for optimal performance.
• Install special functional and structural parts in machinery.
• Lubricate, clean, and maintain equipment to ensure reliability and efficiency.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical issues to minimize downtime.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
• Collaborate with team members to support safe and efficient plant operations.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred; technical certification is a plus.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in mechanical maintenance.
• Ability to climb, bend, squat, and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating manuals, and schematics.
• Understanding of geometry, trigonometry, and mathematical applications in mechanical work.
• Proficiency in work order processing systems and maintenance software.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test.
• Willingness to work extended schedules, weekends, and any assigned shift during the fresh pack season (typically July through early November).
$30.21/hour competitive wage.
