Northwest Packing in Vancouver, WA.;

Forklift Dump Drivers to be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a sit‑down propane forklift; may use multiple types of attachments for the transport of containers including pallets, drums and bins. Follows all safety and food safety policies and procedures. Responsible for documenting paperwork at our Northwest Packing plant in Vancouver, WA. This is a seasonal position supporting our fresh pack season, typically July – November.

• Always Promotes Food Safety Culture as a priority through conversations, communications and actions.
• Must be able to stack product straight with a smooth and safe manner.
• May dismantle, clean, and reassemble assigned production equipment as needed per standard operating procedure.
• Checking the product before dumping
• Weighing the fruit before dumping to ensure it is the correct amount.

Requirements:

• 1+ year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Forklift driver certified and able to pass a preliminary driving test, safety training, and daily evaluations for the first 30 days.
• Able to communicate effectively with others.
• Able to perform work accurately and thoroughly.
• Able to pass a pre‑employment drug test and work extended schedule, weekends, and any shift assigned during the fresh pack season, typically July to early November.
• Eligible for paid sick leave
