Quality Control / Shipping & Receiving Coordinator
Location:
Vancouver, WA
Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour DOE
Schedule:
Full-Time, Day Shift
We are a growing fabrication and manufacturing company looking for a motivated Quality Control and Shipping & Receiving Coordinator to join our team. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys variety throughout their day and wants to grow into a leadership or management position in the future. You'll play a key role in ensuring quality standards are met, materials flow efficiently through the shop, and production stays on schedule.
WhatYou'll DoQuality Control
- Perform dimensional inspections on parts coming off the laser and press brake.
- Conduct final fabrication inspections prior to shipment.
- Complete in-process inspections throughout various stages of production.
- Verify products meet customer specifications and quality standards.
- Document inspection results and communicate quality concerns.
- Load and unload trucks using forklifts and other material handling equipment.
- Receive and organize all inbound materials and inventory.
- Coordinate daily driver routes and deliveries.
- Schedule and coordinate outside trucking services.
- Maintain accurate receiving and shipping records.
- Assist production teams during downtime by helping with:
Drill & Tap operations Saw operations Laser processing Press Brake operations General fabrication Make deliveries as needed. - Complete special projects and assignments as assigned by management.
