Position:
Senior/Media Associate

Department: Media

Reports to: Director of Media

Effective date: April 2026

Classification: FTE, hybrid in Washington, DC

Term: Temporary, with a set-end date in November 2026

This role is hybrid and the team is expected to work 10am-6pm EST with extended hours during the busiest part of the election season. This position will also be expected to be in-person at least one day per week. Other flexibility may be required as clients’ needs shift.

Senior/Media Associate Overview:

The Senior Media Associate or Media Associate is responsible for supporting the Media Team in trafficking, launching, and optimizing paid media campaigns across various platforms. This position will work across clients and get insight into every step of the media planning and buying process. This is a junior generalist position that will come with other duties as assigned.

Senior/Media Associate Responsibilities:

  • Traffic digital advertising campaigns in a variety of ad platforms, including Facebook, Google Ads, Twitter, Linked In, The Trade Desk, and Freewheel DSP. Traffic linear ads to broadcast and cable TV stations via Comcast Ad Fusion.

  • Provide a quality assurance process for each campaign to ensure creative, targets, and campaign goals align with media plans.

  • Assist in producing post-campaign reports.

  • Create and troubleshoot ad accounts for clients on the aforementioned platforms including political verification.

  • This is a junior generalist position that will come with other duties as assigned. Due to the age and size of the organization it is highly likely that this position will be expected to perform duties that are not listed in this description.
