Job Description & How to Apply Below

Company Overview

Ourganda is not a typical Non-Profit. We are a movement that reimagines what is possible when entire communities choose change. Our teams in Uganda have stopped domestic violence in thousands of homes, protected thousands of girls from sexual abuse and forced marriage, and equipped entire communities to lift themselves out of poverty. Ourganda is solving problems before they happen.

Job Overview

As the Executive Assistant to the Executive Director, you will play a vital role in supporting the organization's overall growth. This position requires a person who is detail-oriented and can efficiently manage administrative tasks, communicate effectively with various stakeholders, and contribute to the successful implementation of Ourganda's mission and strategic goals. This position requires a mission-driven and growth mindset that develops and stewards the organization's operating capacity, supporting the team's ability to significantly increase Ourganda's ability to achieve its mission.

This is a full-time position, but can be 35-40 hours and flexible times.

Values in Action

  • We do what we say we’ll do. We take responsibility seriously and we follow through. We know that consistency builds trust and shapes culture.
  • We practice proactive and respectful communication.
  • We keep the 'Why' front and center. We balance big dreams with tending to the daily work that brings them to life.
  • We elevate others. We share power and measure success by what we build together, not alone.
Equal Opportunity

Ourganda welcomes applicants of all backgrounds and does not discriminate based on race, color, creed, national origin, marital status, age, disability, or any other status protected by applicable law. We seek a leader who is grounded in spiritual maturity, aligned with Ourganda's mission, and committed to cross-cultural collaboration and whole-village transformation.
