Description
Peace Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to work in Thoracic Surgery at Peace Health Southwest Medical Center in Vancouver, Washington.
Responsibilities- Join a thriving thoracic surgery service line with an experienced and collegial thoracic surgeon and nurse practitioner.
- Participate in clinic (preoperative and postoperative evaluation) of thoracic patients.
- Participate in hospital rounds.
- Perform inpatient consults.
- Assist in surgery (open, thoracoscopic, robotic)
- Perform procedures (chest tube placement, removal, thoracentesis, placing sutures and suture removal).
- Write orders, complete accurate documentation.
- Take call with the Thoracic Surgeon.
- Patient education and counseling focusing on thoracic and pulmonary pathology and treatment.
- EPIC EMR

- First year compensation, based on direct years of NP/PA experience: $157,768 - $187,179
