Job Description

Human Edge ihas multiple Immediate contracts open for OR RNs in the Albany area.

Shift: 12 hour Days. ASAP Start 13 week contract, option to extend. No call requirement.

• Assess patients condition before surgery
• Ensure that the Operating Room is prepared with all necessary supplies, implants, instrumentation, and equipment
• Keep the operating room sterilized
• Position the patient on operating table
• Pass medical instruments to the surgeons during operation
• Monitor patient’s vital signs
• Evaluate postoperative patients
• Reviews charts for completeness, in accordance with documentation protocols prior to and after the surgical procedure

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• 2 years Hospital based OR experience
• Level I trauma experience
• NY RN license in hand
• BLS (AHA)
• ACLS (AHA)
  Proof of right to work in the United States
