Community Care Registered Nurse
The Community Care RN provides and supervises professional, independent nursing care for Providence patients. Care is based in the nursing process and is consistent with the Oregon Nurse Practice Act. Applies knowledge of assessing, planning, ordering, giving, delegating, teaching and supervising professional nursing care delivery that promotes patients' optimal health and independence. All Providence professional nursing practice requires a broad range of general nursing knowledge and expertise.
In addition, development and validation of knowledge and skills essential to the assigned department, patient population and/or practice area are crucial. This position may be required to rotate through a weekend shift.
The RN participates in and leads clinical teams and may supervise, assign or delegate to licensed practical nurses (LPN's), certified nursing assistants (CNA's) and other health care workers.

Required Qualifications:
- Relevant training applicable to the position, as specified by the Nurse Manager.
- Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
- Relevant certifications applicable to the position, as specified by the Nurse Manager upon hire
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- 1 year of Home health RN experience
