Hourly Rate: $36.04 – $44.44 per hour
Annual Salary: $74,958.09 – $92,444.35 (depending on experience)
The full‑time Nurse Manager will work at the Vancouver – Salmon Creek Medical Clinic. The role collaborates with the Health Center Administrator and Clinical Director to manage daily operations and supervise nursing personnel. The Nurse Manager ensures compliance with Sea Mar’s standards, regulatory requirements, and quality measures such as HEDIS and Meaningful Use.
Responsibilities- Manage and evaluate approximately 10–12 Medical Assistants, including MA supervisors.
- Implement nursing policies and procedures in collaboration with the Medical Director and Health Center Administrator to meet Sea Mar’s standards, philosophy, and governmental regulations.
- Perform monthly audits (e.g., NPSG audits) and demonstrate knowledge of state and federal regulations applicable to health centers or hospitals.
- Focus clinic efforts on quality measures, HEDIS, and Meaningful Use standards.
- Provide annual MA training on infection control, sterilization techniques, and related topics.
- Lead hiring efforts for new MAs and participate in the hiring of other support staff.
- Oversee and maintain a patient‑care system of nurse‑only visits.
- Graduated from an accredited college or university with an active RN or BSN license in Washington State.
- LPNs considered if they possess equivalent experience to meet qualifications.
- Completed state‑mandated HIV education.
- Obtained Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR within 90 days of hire date and maintain current BLS CPR throughout employment.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal), listening, and team‑building abilities.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required.
- Strong leadership abilities and coaching skills.
- Eagerness to learn.
- Strong critical thinking, problem solving, and self‑motivated attitude.
