Bonaventure Senior Living is seeking an experienced registered nurse to join our senior living community in the Vancouver Area. This role focuses on providing quality health care, mentoring and training team members, and ensuring residents’ well‑being. In this role, you will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Conduct nursing assessments to promote the health and well‑being of residents.
- Develop personalized quality service plans.
- Monitor residents’ conditions and respond to changing health needs.
- Educate and guide staff on care procedures and best practices.
- Act as a liaison between residents, their families, and the community.
- Maintain compliance with state guidelines and company policies.
- Keep accurate and detailed health records.
- Have current Registered Nurse License.
- 1 year of experience as a licensed registered nurse, preferably in a community-based care setting.
- Knowledge of basic principles necessary to provide competent nursing care.
- Ability to assess human response to actual or potential health problems.
- Ability to communicate care well, both written and orally.
- Ability to relate to individuals from a variety of diverse ethnic, cultural, and educational backgrounds.
- Follow the state‑mandated guidelines for medication management and community-based care.
- Understand and follow state regulations as well as company policies and guidelines.
- English language required.
- CPR Certification (preferred).
