Overview
Extremely well run Manufacturer of Complex Electro-Magnetic Assemblies used in a wide variety of critical applications seeks a Quality Control Technician/Specialist to join its growing team. This is a newly created role due to sustained growth in the company.
The company is an ISO 9001:2015, AS9100D, AS9120B certified, and ITAR registered company. Customers specialize in designing and building products for use in Industrial, Medical, Oil/Natural Gas, Semiconductor, Commercial Aerospace, and other critical sectors.
We are seeking a team member with a positive, team‑oriented attitude, who wants to find a home with a company that is looking forward to great opportunities ‐ this position will help unlock our mutual potential. The successful candidate will maintain high levels of manufacturing quality, identifying areas for improvement while ensuring conformance to regulatory and AS/ISO standards. The role involves providing technical expertise in close collaboration with all functions including Quality, Engineering, Production and Sales.
Dutiesand Responsibilities
- Willingness to learn
- Analyze magnetic components and assemblies using machines such as Wayne Kerr, LCR meters, etc.
- Mechanical inspection using calibrated tools such as calipers, micrometers, and thread gauges
- Ability to read detailed drawings, schematics, specifications
- Ensure procedures, work instructions, and records align with AS9100 requirements
- Corrective & Preventive Actions – Root Cause Tools, Verification of Effectiveness
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Strong computer skills with Quality Management Systems, Adobe and MS Office (e.g., Word, Excel).
- Attention to Detail
- Knowledge of AS9100 / ISO 9001 Quality Standards
- Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident for ITAR compliance.
