Quality Assurance Lab Tech- 3rd Shift
Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Quality Assurance Lab Tech- 3rd Shift in Vancouver, WA. Our client is a well-established industry leader known for innovation and a commitment to delivering the highest quality products. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine quality assurance testing on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with company specifications and quality standards.
- Collect, prepare, and analyze product samples using established laboratory procedures and testing methods.
- Conduct microbiological, chemical, and physical testing as required to verify product quality and safety.
- Accurately record, document, and maintain laboratory test results, quality records, and other essential data.
- Monitor production processes and identify any quality concerns, inconsistencies, or deviations from established standards.
- Follow safety protocols, laboratory procedures, and food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, GMPs) at all times.
- Maintain, clean, and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure accurate and reliable testing results.
- Communicate test results and quality concerns promptly to production teams, supervisors, and other appropriate personnel.
- Assist with investigations of product quality issues and support corrective actions as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary laboratory environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in quality assurance, laboratory testing, food manufacturing, or a related environment is preferred.
- Ability to accurately perform testing procedures and maintain detailed documentation.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality and food safety.
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
- Flexibility to work 3rd shift, including nights, weekends, and overtime as required.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations, laboratory procedures, HACCP, and GMP guidelines is a plus, but training will be provided.
