Merchandiser​/Cashier

Compensation Pay Range: $17.13 - $23.50 per hour. Additional compensation may include annual, quarterly, or performance premiums, up to a per‑hour amount in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed and multiple premiums may apply.

• Greet customers on the sales floor and assist them in locating merchandise or directing them to the parts specialist.
• Check out customers purchasing front‑floor merchandise in a quick, friendly manner.
• Handle merchandise returns efficiently.
• Assist with express lane tickets, money, checks, and credit card processing when the counter is busy.
• Stock merchandise according to planograms or displays and keep the front area stocked and fronted.
• Ensure merchandise on the display floor is fronted, full, and clean daily.
• Make display changes and price updates according to company guidelines and planograms.
• Maintain and display sale signs, keep the sales flyer rack stocked, and restore original pricing when a sale ends.
• Assist with stock adjustments, cycle counts, and overstock returns.
• Collaborate with the manager to complete the store To‑Do List and Team Weekly tasks.
• Act as the main deterrent for shoplifting and serve as front‑floor security.
• Assist with O’Reilly Image Maker responsibilities.
• Clock in and out according to company policy.

• Good aptitude for dealing with number sequences.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Previous cashier and/or stocking experience is desired.
• Ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle.
• Fluency in multiple languages is highly desired;
  Spanish is especially valued.
