NAPA Counter Sales Associate

- Provide auto parts answers and solutions for our retail and wholesale customers in person at the counter or over the phone.
- Use parts knowledge to assist other NAPA team members in answering customer questions.
- Deliver outstanding customer care and interactions with everyone who comes into our NAPA Store.
- Maintain customer focus and high energy in our fast‑paced stores.
- Welcome retail customers into our stores and engage to provide a positive consumer experience.
- Use technology (computer, cash register, telephone, and paper catalog system).
- Valid Driver's License.
- Previous experience in a parts store or automotive industry, or willingness to learn all things automotive.
- High School Diploma or GED; technical or trade school courses or degree is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Love fast‑paced retail environments.
- Great listening skills and empathy for customers.
- Background or passion for automotive industry, heavy equipment, farm industry, diesel, marine, or dealership.
- Experience in a parts store, auction, retail store, or auto body/collision.
- Knowledge of cataloging and/or inventory management systems.
- Customer‑centric mindset (external/internal).
- ASE certifications.

This position offers an hourly pay of $19.25. Many hourly positions have pay progression with set starting rates; you reach the top end of this range within 12 months of hire. Other positions: starting rate determined based on individual skills, experience and qualifications. We encourage candidates to discuss their background during the interview.
