Regional Sales Manager – West Coast
Location: Remote – West
Travel: Approximately 50% throughout the assigned territory
About the OpportunityWe are seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager to drive new business growth across the Western United States. This role is ideal for a high-performing sales professional who excels at developing new accounts, managing complex government sales cycles, and building trusted relationships with law enforcement agencies. You will be responsible for expanding market presence, generating pipeline, and closing strategic opportunities with public safety organizations throughout the region.
Responsibilities- Develop and execute a strategic territory plan to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Identify, prospect, and close new business opportunities within state, local, county, municipal, and federal law enforcement agencies.
- Own the entire sales cycle from prospecting through contract negotiation and close.
- Build relationships with Police Chiefs, Sheriffs, Command Staff, Detectives, Crime Lab personnel, Procurement, and executive leadership.
- Deliver compelling product demonstrations and presentations to technical and executive audiences.
- Partner with distributors, channel partners, and industry associations to expand market reach.
- Attend regional conferences, trade shows, and customer events throughout the West Coast territory.
- Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and CRM activity.
- Collaborate with customer success, marketing, and product teams to ensure successful customer adoption and long-term growth.
- Stay informed on public safety trends, emerging technologies, funding opportunities, and competitive solutions.
- 3+ years selling into LE/SLED
- Proven success selling software, SaaS, hardware, or integrated technology solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to consistently generate net-new business and exceed quota.
Experience managing long, consultative sales cycles with multiple stakeholders. - Strong presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to travel extensively throughout the assigned territory.
