Retail Security Officer

Andy Frain Services seeks a PT Retail Security Officer to safeguard customers, staff, and assets in a dynamic finance and insurance environment. In this part-time role, you'll provide a professional security presence in branches and retail locations, monitor entrances and high-traffic areas, conduct patrols, and respond to incidents and alarms. You'll support access control, document events with accurate reports, and collaborate with staff to maintain a safe, welcoming atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Provide visible security presence in retail banking and insurance environments
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to deter theft and suspicious activity
• Conduct regular patrols of lobbies, ATMs, and customer-facing areas
• Assist with access control and verify identification as required
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and customer or staff safety concerns
• Document incidents, prepare clear reports, and follow escalation procedures
• Coordinate with branch staff and management on safety protocols
• Support crowd control during peak hours and special events
• Follow company and client policies, including confidentiality and compliance standards
• Provide excellent customer service while enforcing security procedures
