Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel trucks, including engine, chassis, brakes, hydraulics, suspension, cooling, wheels and tires.;
Inspect equipment and trucks for condition, parts and fluid levels, differentials, final drives, pump drives, and hubs.;
Utilize vehicle computer electronics systems to interpret failure modes and initiate repairs.;
Conduct safety checks on vehicles and maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with OSHA standards.;
Complete required paperwork using fleet maintenance software to document parts usage and repair times, and review Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports.
