Laborer – Vancouver team. Up to a $500 Hiring Bonus available.

• Load and unload construction supplies to and from flatbeds, both manually and using equipment.
• Prepare the construction site as needed, including setting up jobsite with signs, cones, and materials, and break down the site at the end of the job.
• Prepare patches to the required depth.
• Hand dig for locates and operate jackhammer when necessary.
• Operate a variety of equipment including hand and power tools, a roller, and a backhoe.
• Perform flagging duties as needed.
• Follow all safety rules and regulations and practice preventive safety measures; wear required PPE.
• Specific concrete duties:
  • Prepare the work site for a concrete pour using shovels and other hand tools.
  • Backfill area with sub‑grade materials and compact to level the work area.
  • Set concrete forms, ensuring correct depth and pitch with help of lead/foreman.
  • Ensure the cement mixture is safely handled, properly poured, and finished free of cracks and imperfections with help of lead/foreman.
  • Smooth and finish freshly poured cement or concrete using floats, trowels, screeds, or powered cement finishing tools with help of lead/foreman.
  • Remove and clean forms, boards, and stakes once the job is complete; clean tools and ensure debris is removed from the site.
  • Clean and maintain tools, trucks, and equipment.
