Lead Equipment Technician

Job Overview

C&E Rentals is seeking a Lead Equipment Technician to support and mentor our Vancouver shop team while diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a diverse fleet of construction and rental equipment.

Our fleet includes:

• Excavators

• Telehandlers
• Boom lifts
• Scissor lifts
• Forklifts

• Compaction equipment

• Landscape and small engine equipment

• Genie

• Skyjack
• Sky Trak
• Ditch Witch
• Bobcat
• Stihl

• Diagnose and repair hydraulic, electrical, diesel, gasoline, and mechanical systems.
• Perform inspections, preventive maintenance, and major repairs.
• Assist with shop scheduling and workflow.
• Support and mentor junior technicians.
• Help maintain fleet quality and reliability standards.
• Communicate repair needs and equipment status with management.
• Promote a safe, organized, and productive shop environment.

• 5+ years of equipment repair experience preferred.
• Strong diagnostic abilities.
• Experience with hydraulic and electrical troubleshooting.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Leadership skills and willingness to mentor others.
• Valid driver's license.
• CDL is a plus but not required.
• Welding and fabrication experience is a plus.
