Monday through Friday. No nights. No weekends.
C&E Rentals is looking for a mechanic who knows how to fix equipment, solve problems, and take pride in doing quality work. We are a locally owned equipment rental company with locations in Oregon and Washington. Our Vancouver store is growing, and we need a strong mechanic who can help keep our rental fleet safe, reliable, and ready for customers.
This is not a flat rate job. This is not warranty work. This is not doing the same repair over and over every day.
You will work on a wide variety of equipment including excavators, skid steers, boom lifts, scissor lifts, telehandlers, trenchers, compactors, generators, landscape equipment, gas engines, diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
What You’ll Do:- Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, gas, and diesel issues.
- Perform preventative maintenance and safety inspections.
- Troubleshoot equipment problems and determine the right repair.
- Complete work orders and repair documentation.
- Help keep equipment safe, clean, and ready to rent.
- Work with the service team to keep the shop moving.

We are looking for someone with strong mechanical ability and a good attitude. Equipment rental experience is not required.
