Sr. Field Service Technician - GSE WA​/

About the Role

Senior Field Service Technician – travels to customer sites in the Western region of the continental United States, performing diagnostics, repairs, upgrades, and maintenance on ground support equipment (GSE).

• Travel to customer sites (approx. 80% travel) to provide hands‑on service on aircraft tow tractors, container loaders, aircraft deicers, baggage and cargo transport vehicles, and other airport GSE.
• Diagnose, repair, and perform routine maintenance on hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Interface with PLC systems to upload, download, troubleshoot programs and adjust control logic.
• Collaborate with dealer technicians via phone, email, or on‑site to assist with troubleshooting.
• Review technical documentation, manuals, and schematics to ensure accurate service procedures.
• Maintain detailed documentation through work order systems, ensuring issue resolution and service reporting.
• Participate in OEM testing and equipment upgrades as needed.
• Provide end‑user product orientation and safe operating procedures at customer sites.
• Mentor or train junior or less‑experienced technicians in‑field when required.

• High School Diploma or GED plus five (5) or more years of relevant experience in machine assembly, light fabrication, or previous relevant contracting experience with Oshkosh Corporation.
• Ability to travel up to 50%.
• Proficient in electrical diagnostics and repair; mechanical and component‑level service; hydraulic diagnostics and repair.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
• Ability to work independently with strong problem‑solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to obtain a passport if necessary.
• Capable of working productively in a diverse, multicultural environment.

$73,200.00 – $ per year.
