Job Description:
We are looking for a commercial HVAC/Sheet Metal foreman or installers with at least 2 years HVAC/Sheet Metal experience. The duties for the journeyman position include:
* Layout, measure, and mark out dimensions
* Assemble and Install heating, ventilating, and air conditioning duct work
* Install copper refrigerant lines, including brazing and soldering
* Assemble and install HVAC equipment
* Work off of sheet metal shop drawings and plans to install duct work and equipment
* Take field measurements, calculate offsets, and perform layouts
* Follow all established safety rules and regulations
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Additional requirements for candidates interested in a Foreman position:
* Collaborate with the Project Manager to insure appropriate manpower and material
* Manage and direct HVAC/Sheet Metal Crews
* Conduct safety inspections and pre-task plans
* Attend weekly meetings with General Contractor/Owner
* Daily task assignment for all crew members
* Daily Reports and Timecards

Pay: $30.00 - $46.00 per hour DOE
JRT does perform prevailing wage work as well and wages on those projects vary and are published by the State or Federal Agency.
